Although an oath was made for the women to stay away from sex, I believe that only a handful of women would be able to truly withstand it. These women, in my opinion, are the ones that feel as if Lysistrata had some sort of impact on them and feel the need to pay her back. On the contrary, I do believe that the bulk of the women did not want to take part in the oath. These were the people which could not go without the likes of sex, or fornication for that matter.

IDK, i guess it depends on your faith in the nature of women. At first, I thought that the women wouldn't be able to go through with the oath the whole time because they didn't even want to take the oath at first. However, my mind started to change when I started to see how loyal they were to each other and the oath. Also, they were so ademate about fighting and lashing out against the men, that I feel that would have been able to stick it out. It seemed like the men were easier to give in than the women.
