Both Kleonike and Myrrhina are leading women that are apart of the oath created by Lysistrata. They are like sidekicks to that of Lysistrata. Kleonike is the neighbor of Lysistrata and was the first person to come to the meeting held by Lysistrata pertaining to the oath. Myrrhina is a good friend of Lysistra. With the three working together, in combination with the rest of the women, the men would have a force to recon with.

Okay, well, i totally have to agree but also disagree. They do help Lysistrata "round up the women" from all of Greece, I admit/agree. However, I do not see them as sidekicks, because as I see it, Kleonike would have been quick to opt out of the movement, because thats how she seemed. And, I think Myrrhine might have also, if it would not have been for Lysistrata helping her resist the temptaion of Kinesias begging for her at the Akropolis. So, i wouldnt call them her sidekick, but rather, associates...

You're right about Myrrhine and Kleonike being Lysistrata's, somewhat, sidekicks. However, I'm not so sure that thier combination would have forced the men to give in. First of all, Myrrhine and Kleonike, despite the fact that were first at the meeting, they were the first to change their minds when Lysistrata proposed the abstinance plan. Also, during the time when all the women were trying to get away from the Akropolis and to their husbands, Kleonike was right there with them complaining about staying in the Akropolis. Maybe their combination was strong enough for the men to give it, but I think it would have eventually dissolved away.
